Guelph Independent Living provides attendant services to adults with physical disabilities who meet the eligibility criteria for the service:

• 16 years of age or older
• has a permanent physical disability
• able to direct one’s own attendant services
• is medically stable
  

Attendant services are non-medical in nature: bathing, dressing, transfers, meal assistance, homemaking, etc.

Assisted Living offers 24 hour attendant services within two integrated, accessible apartment buildings located in well established Guelph neighbourhoods. Services are pre-scheduled, with on-call service also available. Clients live independently in their own apartments and are responsible for tenancy and living costs, though they may be eligible for a rent subsidy.

Attendant Outreach provides pre-scheduled attendant services to individuals who live in their own homes in the community. Services are scheduled between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and midnight, seven days a week. Attendant Outreach does not provide on-call services.
